My name is Einar. I'm an actor and filmmaker from a small fishing village in Estonia. I spent half my childhood in Sweden after my parents escaped the Soviet Union and relocated there. My passion for filmmaking began at age 10 when I picked up my stepfather’s video camera and started making horror movie parodies with my sister and cousins.

A few years later, inspired by comedian Tom Green, I began uploading pranks and street interview videos to his website—some of which were even featured on his live show. Then, in 2005, a little website called YouTube launched, and I became Estonia’s first YouTuber. A decade later, I wrote and directed a post-apocalyptic sci-fi short film, The Most Beautiful Day. Shortly after, I flew to LA with just $100 in my pocket to pursue acting—an adventure worthy of a film itself.

I landed a couple of indie film roles, moved to London, and was cast in a BBC series alongside Ron Perlman. A few years later, I starred opposite Andy Serkis, Idris Elba, and Cynthia Erivo in Netflix’s Luther: The Fallen Sun.
