Experience :
From Western classical opera to Indian cinema – and much in between – Carl has enjoyed a diverse career in the performing arts. Most recently, he renders the evil Alfred Petty, the lead villain of the successful 2022 Bengali webseries, Mukti, for the Zee network. In the SonyLIV webseries Rocket Boys, he plays Bennet Wheeler. Carl appears in Rajamouli’s upcoming multi-language epic, RRR, and in the thriller Raangi alongside Trisha. In 2019, he played the Australian commentator Johnson in Inside Edge with Nikhil Chopra, who is himself a real-life and reel-life commentator. Carl acted in Akshay Kumar’s Kesari, and appeared as John Nott-Bower in the television serial Chandrasekar. Earlier last decade, Carl played Mr Cahill in the Malayalam classic, How Old Are You?; in the Tamil horror thriller Zero, he made a dramatic appearance as the exorcist. He has also acted in numerous other films, including Vijay Sethupathi’s Aandavan Kattalai.
